For this Lake Hayes residence, the brief was to introduce original artwork that felt connected to the home without competing with its architecture or surrounding landscape.
The curation process considered the scale, light, material palette and character of each space, with a focus on selecting pieces that would bring warmth, contrast and a sense of individuality to the interior. Rather than treating each artwork in isolation, the collection was approached as a whole, allowing the pieces to feel connected while still giving each room its own identity.
A carefully edited selection of works was presented through visual mock-ups, helping the clients understand how each piece would sit within their home before making their final selections.
The result is a collection that feels natural to the space — adding colour, texture and personality while allowing the home itself to remain calm and considered.
